Managing Drafting Errors

You can use the Drafting Errors Navigator to manage drafting errors. To show the Drafting Errors Navigator, choose View > Show Drafting Errors Navigator.

Here are ways to use the Drafting Errors Navigator:
  • To sort drafting errors alphabetically, by number of errors, or by location, click one of the buttons at the top of the Navigator.

  • To go to where a drafting error appears, click a drafting error in the Navigator. Press the Up Arrow key to go to the next drafting error up, and the Down Arrow key to go to the next drafting error down.

  • To ignore a drafting error, click a drafting error in the Navigator to select it, and then click the Ignore button (×) at the bottom of the Navigator or press the Delete key.

To quickly ignore all drafting errors, choose Ignore All Drafting Errors from the Action pop‑up menu at the bottom of the Navigator.

Note: You ignore categories of drafting errors, not individual drafting errors.

  • To restore a drafting error you’ve ignored, choose Show Ignored Drafting Errors from the Action pop‑up menu at the bottom of the Navigator to show ignored drafting errors in the Navigator. Then, select the ignored drafting error you want to restore, and click the Restore button at the bottom of the Navigator or press the Delete key.

To quickly restore all ignored drafting errors, choose Restore All Ignored Drafting Errors from the Action pop‑up menu at the bottom of the Navigator.

  • To copy drafting errors to the Clipboard, use Shift‑click or Command‑click to select drafting errors in the Drafting Errors Navigator, and then choose Edit > Copy or press Command‑C.
