Working with Introductory Sections
Introductory sections are useful for recitals, preliminary statements, and other items that precede the main content in a contract.

Adding and Removing Introductory Sections
In Turner, introductory sections appear in the introduction of your document. The introduction appears above the first provision.
Choose Insert > Introductory Section.
Click Inspector in the toolbar, click the Front Matter button at the top of the inspector window, and then click the Insert Introductory Section button.
To insert an introductory section above one that you select, select an introductory section, and then choose Insert > Item Before or press Command–Option–Up Arrow key.
To insert an introductory section below one that you select, select an introductory section, and then choose Insert > Item After or press Command–Option–Down Arrow key.
To delete an introductory section, click the introductory section you want to delete, and then press the Delete key or choose Edit > Delete.

Formatting Introductory Sections
You can use the controls in the Front Matter inspector to add a title to an introductory section and to choose how to refer to an introductory section in cross-references. To show the Front Matter inspector, click Inspector in the toolbar, and then click the Front Matter button at the top of the inspector window.
Before you format an introductory section, you must select the introductory section you want to format.
Go to the introduction, and then click an introductory section to select it.
In the Front Matter inspector, use the “Cross-Reference as” text field. You can choose a name by clicking the arrow to the right of the “Cross-Reference as” text field, and then selecting a name from the drop-down list. If none of the listed names are suitable, you can type your own in the “Cross-Reference as” text field.
Go to the introduction, and then click an introductory section to select it.
In the Front Matter inspector, select “Include title”.
