Inserting a Page Break
You can add a page break to make content start on a new page when you print or export your document.
Position the insertion point where you want to add a page break.
Choose Insert > Page Break.
To remove a page break, set the insertion point after the page break, and then press the Delete key.
In general, you do not need to add page breaks to avoid typesetting errors when you print or export your document. To learn more, see Pagination. To learn about printing and exporting generally, see Printing and Exporting a Document to Other Formats.
In addition to page breaks, you can add paragraph breaks and line breaks to your document; see Inserting a Paragraph Break and Inserting a Line Break to learn more.
Inserting a Paragraph Break
You can use a paragraph break to create a new paragraph without creating a new numbered provision.
Position the insertion point where you want to add a paragraph break.
Choose Insert > Paragraph Break.
To remove a paragraph break, set the insertion point at the beginning of a paragraph, and then press the Delete key.
As you work on your document, you may want to use the Return key to insert paragraph breaks. To do this, choose Turner > Preferences, and then use the Return Key controls in the General pane of Turner preferences.
In addition to paragraph breaks, you can add page breaks and line breaks to your document; see Inserting a Page Break and Inserting a Line Break to learn more.
Inserting a Line Break
You can use a manual line break (also called a soft return) if you want to start a new line without creating a new provision or a new paragraph. Line breaks are useful for mailing addresses, contact information, and other kinds of content that often appear on multiple lines.
Position the insertion point where you want to add a line break.
Choose Insert > Line Break or press Option-Return.
