Using Numbered Lists and Provisions Together
You can use numbered lists together with provisions to create complex language. For example, you can use numbered lists and provisions to do the following:
Begin a provision.
Add clauses to the provision with increased indentation.
Add text, a proviso list, or other content to the end of the provision without increased indentation.
Create a provision and add text to it.
Create a numbered list and add text to it.
In the Numbered List inspector, select Indent to make list items in the numbered list indented.
Use the Right Arrow key to set the insertion point after the numbered list, and and then begin typing to add text to the end of the provision.
See Editing Provisions to learn how to create a provision. See Converting Provisions to Numbered Lists to learn how to replace provisions with a numbered list.
